To engage storage industry professionals and get the word out about new developments, SATA-IO participated in numerous industry events in 2013, including the Creative Storage Conference, Flash Memory Summit, and the Intel Developer Forum. With the help of SATA-IO members and the Marketing Work Group, we successfully showcased the organization's newest technical developments with presentations, product demos, whitepapers, and FAQs to thousands of attendees. SATA-IO's active presence at recent events has resulted in a variety of positive coverage in relevant industry publications - helping to create awareness of recent developments relating to M.2 and SATA Express among target audiences. SATA-IO has continued to solidify its position as a leader in the storage industry through briefings with press, successfully demonstrating the standard's ability to adapt to ever-changing market demands. In 2014, SATA will continue its active engagement in the storage industry through exhibits and speaking opportunities at prominent, targeted events. SATA-IO already kicked off the New Year with a productive Storage Visions event sponsorship in Las Vegas, earning recognition from attendees and media alike. Would you like to contribute to SATA-IO's 2014 campaign? We are currently seeking member volunteers to speak about SATA-related activities at the 2014 Flash Memory Summit, August 5-7 in Santa Clara, CA. Participation is open to anyone involved in the design, development, integration, marketing, use, or support of flash memory, or related hardware, software, or services. If you or another member of your company is interested in participating, please email Lela Gradman with details on potential presentation topics (relating to SATA activities) by March 5th. |
